Role: Brand Designer Year: 2025
Designing a brand identity for a small business named Bite Size Bakery Company. A bakery that specializes in small bite-sized cookies in their home kitchen.
Project Overview
I was tasked with creating a brand identity for Bite Size. When you think of something bite-sized, the first thought is that it’s small and ready-to-be consumed in one go. So what if instead of bite-sized cookies, we have a bite-sized baker? The direction for this brand was a more playful and silly tone. In which I created a small little baker who is surrounded by large baking appliances.
Design ProcessSketches
These were the first sketches for Bite Size’s small baker! At first I wanted to use the light colors of the palette, giving her a very soft vibe. However, she doesn’t really stick out, she doesn’t really give main character vibes. So, instead I used the darker colors of the palette to really make our tiny baker shine.
Do you also notice that she’s not really struggling? I mean she is a baker in a messy kitchen! So I raised the emotions too.

The client wanted an illustrative design for the packaging, stationary, and social media. I created the illustrations above to be reused as graphics for this brand. I went for one color variation, as opposed to multicolor for the logo to pop. The light colors of the brand’s palette is used as secondary colors for highlights, blush, etc. I took inspiration from existing brands like Chip City and Levain Bakery.
